The latest and chicest bag trend has got everyone obsessed, for this autumn and winter we've seen the huge rise in popularity of oversized and much more practical, large handbags.

So why is this new trend in handbags so popular? Well if we take a look at previous bag trends which we've seen on runways and collections, they were always small or impractical. You could fit your keys, phone (barley), lip gloss and that's about it, sure these bags looked good but were a hassle to be an everyday use. So with this new drastic change, everyone's loving this new trend due to the relief of not having to stuff everything in your bag and worrying about the heaviness or if all your belongings will fit. Designers who have hopped on the trend have mastered to not only make the bags useful for their customers with practicality but beautiful in the design itself, with the most popular bags having a gorgeous noticeable silhouette which emphasises the fashion statement of the bag.

Just to name a few iconic designers who have hopped on this trend and even popularised would be: Bottegga, Simone Rocha, Chloe and more, but also seeing celebrities and fashion icons indulging in the trend causing increased sales and popularity of bags. One reason I personally am a fan of the trend is how complex the different bags I've seen become popular are, from shapes to the material used.
